On the occasion of the General Assembly of ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations) held in Beijing, Dr Hassan Moustafa, President of the International Handball Federation has been elected member of the ASOIF Council.

He was one out of eleven candidates to apply for only three vacant places in the Council. In addition to him, Els van Breda Vriesman. President of the International Hockey Federations as well as Bruno Grandi, President of the International Gymnastics Federations, have been elected into the ASOIF Council.
